1. WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF AIRBAG COMPATIBILITY?

A bull bar that has passed airbag compliance testing, has been shown to not significantly change the response of the vehicle's airbag system on impact. Not all of the TJM Products bull bars have been tested for airbag compliance. Many of the older bars were developed before testing for airbag compliance was routinely performed.
A bar that is not labeled as airbag compatible has simply not been tested. No data is available to show whether or not an untested bar will affect the vehicle's airbag system on impact.
Call your TJM Distributor if you need to verify the status of airbag testing for a specific bull bar.

2. WHAT WINCH FITMENTS ARE AVAILABLE?

TJM Products bull bars will accept only low mount winches. Winches with an integrated solenoid will not fit within the bumper channel.
Most steel bull bars are designed to have a winch fitted directly to the bull bar, and do not require winch frames. The steel bull bars that do require winch frames are called "recessed roller" bars. This type of bull bar is a special design required for airbag compatibility on some vehicles.
All Aluminum bull bars require a steel winch frame to support a winch.
All winch capable bull bars fit up to a 9000 lb low mount Warn or Ramsey electric winch. Some bull bars such as the Ford Super Duty bull bar can accept a larger winch. Call your TJM Distributor to inquire if a larger winch will fit in the desired bull bar.

3. HOW DO FRONT LICENSE PLATES INSTALL ON THE BULL BARS?

U.S.A. license plates will bolt directly to the bull bar and completely cover the holes provided for winch fitment. Some bars may require drilling for license plate installation. All new models have pre-drilled holes for U.S.A. license plates.
When a winch is installed, a hinged winch cover / license plate holder is available from TJM Products for securing a license plate in front of the roller fairleads. The hinged winch cover swings away for easy access to the winch cable.

4. WHAT PROVISION IS AVAILABLE FOR AUXILIARY LIGHTING ON THE DIFFERENT BULL BARS?

All T16 Grille Guards have holes to accept auxiliary lights.
Some T17 bumper channels may require drilling to install auxiliary lighting.
All T15 and T13 bull bars have holes to accept auxiliary lights. Most T15 and T13 bull bars accept up to a Hella Rally 4000 light, but some fit only smaller lights.
Call your TJM Distributor for maximum lighting dimensions, if necessary.

5. WHAT IS THE TJM WARRANTY?

TJM limited warranty guarantees TJM products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of one (1) year after retail purchase from an authorized TJM dealer. This guarantee does not cover damages from road hazards, improper wiring, installation or operation, or willful abuse. Warranty does not cover consequential damage, or damage or inconvenience caused by non-operation of the product. TJM’s liability is limited to either free repair or free replacement of warranted products at the sole discretion of TJM. No credits or refunds will be issued.

When a TJM product is suspected to be defective, it must be submitted into warranty inspection through an authorized TJM distributor. The entire part must be returned, not just the suspected defective part, shipped freight prepaid, together with a written description of the suspected failure and proof of purchase. The repaired or replaced product will be returned freight prepaid.

This TJM limited warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied regarding TJM Products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

If you have any questions regarding items from TJM Products, please contact the location from which you purchased the items.

6. WHAT IS THE TJM NON-WARRANTY RETURN POLICY?

Non-warranty returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Also, a 10% repackaging charge may be applied if the items requires repackaging upon delivery at TJM Products facility.

If products are returned and deemed to have received further damage during transit, the products will be refused and returned to shipper/customer and no credit will be issued.

Customer shall pay all freight associated with products being returned for non-warranty credit.

TJM Products that have been installed are not subject to return unless the cause is a defect in material or workmanship (see TJM Limited Warranty.)

All claims for product damage/shortage must be filed with TJM Products within three (3) days of receipt of shipment.

Discontinued Bull Bars:

7. WILL THE CURRENT BUMPERS FOR THE FORD SUPER DUTY FIT THE 2005 SUPER DUTY?

All current bumbers offered for the Ford Super Duty will fit the 2005. Due to the changes made for the 2005 model year the winch fitment kit, part number MWFK, is needed whether or not a winch is going to be used.
